Acclaimed for his "effortless technique and boundless color" (Jed Distler of Gramophone), Swiss-French pianist François-Xavier Poizat has performed in 26 countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas, all before his 30th birthday.  François-Xavier Poizat was catapulted onto the international stage at the age of 12 when Martha Argerich invited him to perform at the Pacific Music Festival in Japan, recognizing his ‘’deep lyricism and remarkable virtuosity’’. He has since performed with orchestras including Svizzera Italiana Orchestra, the National du Capitole de Toulouse, and the Zürich Chamber Orchestra, under the batons of Neeme Järvi, Thierry Fischer, and Bernard Labadie, among many others.
