Portuguese pianist Vasco Dantas displays his musical mastery performing preludes by Claude Debussy and the Portuguese impressionist Luis de Freitas-Branco, alongside Mussorgsky’s colorful Pictures at An Exhibition in his Carnegie Hall recital debut.  Winner of "Grand Prix" at Valleta International Piano Competition (Malta, 2017) and Estoril Lisbon Music Competition (2015), among other international awards and distinctions, Dantas’ touring schedule frequently takes him across Europe, Asia, and South America. Dantas is praised by critics and audiences alike for the intensity, sensitivity, and keen technical mastery of his performances. He studied with Dmitri Alexeev at London Royal College of Music and with Heribert Koch at University of Münster, in Germany.
